Where the hell have you been, anyway?
Well, that’s a fair question.
First off - I didn’t feel I knew enough to really provide much insight on things yet - I always felt a bit guilty posting because i desperately don’t want to steer anybody wrong. Second, I was working my keister off. It’s ironic really - about the time our galleries were starting to show real progress WHAM - 4472 hits us in the puss. And we had to sit back, get some qualified advice, and start all over again (see Lucky’s previous post.)
So where are we now? Well we’re more into blogs - lots of text, not too many dirty pictures to poke somebody’s eye out. We have about 8 ‘true’ blogs now, plus about a half dozen ‘feeder’ blogs on thumblogger, and we’re doing pretty well money wise - about $200 last month, not bad for restarting the whole damn thing from the ground up, and I’m hoping I still believe we’ll crack that $1000 a month mark by the end of the year. I’ve also been working really hard on mainstream marketing - and our ‘legit’ web design business signed a new client last week AND I got asked to do a redesign of an existing site. So life is looking pretty good!
Priorities for this site - well, USING it would be good. Also going to work very hard on writing tutorials - being so freshly started myself, maybe I can help guide others away from common pitfalls. Finally getting the resources area up and running - plenty of things that I can point folks towards that could be a help. So sit back and watch as BizChick tries the whole adult webmaster blog thingy again - and enjoy the ride!
