Your sponsor portfolio - who do you promote?
It’s a valid question for beginning adult webmasters. Where do you start? It can seem like there are a million sponsors out there, and knowing where to begin is crucial when you’re hoping to build a new business.
My advice is to think of your sponsors like a stock market portfolio. If you were investing in stocks, you’d want to be sure you had a balanced and diversified set of holdings; with a selection of tried and tested companies you could count on to outperform and pay good dividends. The same is true when selecting your sponsors!
If you could only invest in one stock, many advisors would tell you to pick up a mutual fund. Why? Because it isn’t really ‘one stock’ at all. It’s a basket of investments including stocks and other holdings, selected by a mutual fund manager, that in his or her opinion meet those criteria - consistent performers with good returns. So if you’re a brand new, green and wet behind the ears webmaster, I’d advise you to do the same thing. Pick a sponsor with a ‘basket’ of diverse, well-performing sites so you can experiment and find what niche you can promote the best. Here are my ‘top three’ sponsor picks for the green webmaster.
(1)TopBucks
There’s a reason they’re so big! The portfolio of adult sites they have will blow your mind - I STILL find things there every week that I didn’t know about. Want to promote MILF? They’ve got that. Lesbians? Sure, they have several great sites. Feel like dabbling in Hirsute? Yes, they have that! Hell they have a whole site devoted to iPod downloads 
If you’re really short on cash, do their pay per signup, otherwise sign up for their revshare program and build your empire. With this many sites and great customer service, you won’t be disappointed - and they’re in the business for the long haul. Another fantastic site with tons of different niches to choose from. One advantage - no minimum payouts, so you know you’re going to get paid even if you only make one sale! Looking for something different? These guys not only do some great individual babe sites like Tia Uncovered, but they offer other niches like interracial, soccer babes for the athletic type, and hardcore fetish freakiness at Urban Perversions. Although they don’t have quite as wide a niche selection as the previous two programs, their content is less heavily exposed and does convert well, so it might be worth signing up for them.
