Sales are up… sales are down
It has been one heck of a roller coaster ride the last few weeks. I can’t speak for anyone else but our adult sales ave been all over the map with wild traffic fluctuations. Our mainstream business seems to be doing better and better, but adult is all over the place - one day we’ll send 400 uniques to a sponsor, the next day only 25, and the day after that back up to 350 or 400. It is really weird.
What concerns me most is the “every man for themselves” attitude which seems to be settling in with summer slowdown. I feel as if I have to really watch my back. I have had several sponsors that have begun doing things I’m not crazy about, and leaks seem to be on the rise, so word to the wise; just because you’re been happy in the past, you should still be checking your FHG’s, tours and feeds frequently. When sales go down sometimes sponsors try things which may not be in your best interest. And the same goes for link trades and other arrangements you may have made with fellow webmasters. If you don’t have a trading script you should probably invest in one - Kaktusan has a great one, link organizer, which will take the headache out of trading links.
